This morning,
She called me up-

Saying from her,
She'd decided
There would be
No more excuses-

I started getting excited-

"Oh, Sylvia!"

"Sylvia!"

"You mean you finally agree,
"To go out and see a movie with me?"

"Oh, Sylvia-"

"Sylvia-"

"Sylvia-"

"I'll pick you up tonight at six!"

Just as she gave a wild laugh,
And said she was only pulling my chain again-

And the phone went- click!

"Sylvia!"

"Sylvia!"

"Ooh...
"I'm going to get you,
"Sylvia!"
