Wasting- wasting time:

Nothing sublime-

Everything ridiculous,
When not totally demoniacal-

And is it all
To losing my mind?

Whims and moods,
And rock and roll attitudes:

And all the rest who
Claim they're perfectly sane-

Taking no apparent notice
Of the fact,
That they're also playing
The same old game...

It could be a hilarious story,
If understood completely:

But that's something
They'll never think to see-

Nor could they hear it,
Even if a babe sang it
Oh, so sweetly-

Wasting- wasting time.
